Who I am
Hi, I'm Erik. I've been a competitive artistic gymnastics athlete for over 14 years. I've spent the last few years inside the sports world — close enough to see what's broken.
I started Athletex because I kept having the same conversation — athletes with no leverage over their own data, federations and clubs running on spreadsheets, brands guessing at ROI, AI labs starving for verified human-performance data.
What I believe
Sport is one of the largest cultural economies on Earth and it still runs on WhatsApp threads, gut feel, and Excel. The operating system has not been built. Whoever builds it first owns the next decade.
The athlete is the asset. The dataset is the moat. The buyer has changed — brands want ROI, federations want infrastructure, AI labs want training data nobody else has. The next layer of sport gets built in Europe, closer to the supply of talent.
What we are building
One graph. Five products on top of it — Atlas (athletes), Federation (federations/leagues), Asset Engine (brands/sponsorship), Scout (scouts/agencies), Data API (AI labs).
Why now
AI labs need verified human-performance data to train the next generation of models, and there is no source. Federations are being forced to digitize under EU pressure. Athletes are finally treating their own data as an asset, not a byproduct.
If this is you
If you're an athlete who wants leverage over your own data. If you're a brand tired of guessing. If you're a federation rebuilding from the inside. If you're an AI lab who knows the sports graph is the next training set worth owning — join the waitlist or book a call. We have hypotheses, not a product. We're listening.
